The Journal of Ubuntu provides a platform for the publishing of all aspects and levels of Ubuntu philosophy as follows:

  1. Family and individual (ukama)
  2. Community (ujamaa)
  3. Society (ujamii)
  4. Environment (imvelo)
  5. Spiritual (uroho)

The journal takes an interdisciplinary approach.

We are seeking in-depth, well researched articles which could be results of primary data collection or reviews. Family, community and individual experiences of Ubuntu are welcome.

Authors will get help to deepen their methods, discussion and to simplify implications for a global audience.

Journals start with an idea, and they start small. The Journal if Ubuntu is new but is ready to address the current gap that has left vast Africa acknowledges out of academia.

We prefer the ASWDNet style of referencing but any style is acceptable.

We want you to focus on content, so do not worry about formatting, we will assist with it.

There are no fees for publishing in the journal.
